This is Gunner! He's a giant 84 lb. momma's boy! Gunner is a 50/50 mix Giant Schnauzer/Standard Poodle. Wherever momma goes, he goes! He was born November 2021 and became part of our family when he was 8 weeks old. His temperament is mostly calm and playful, he is not a hyper dog, but when it's playtime and certain que words are thrown out there it's GO TIME! He loves his ball most of all. He is very loyal and devoted to his family. He is highly trainable, very obedient and compliant, and very intelligent. He loves to cuddle and could be the best big lapdog one could ever want! He is also protective of his homestead but knows how to provide a warm welcome. Gunner was our first family dog. We never imagined having a dog until one day we felt it would bring so much more joy to our family, and indeed he did! ...and then came along Bonnie...and their adorable Giant Schnoodle puppies!
If I could talk human I would say..."My favorite thing in the whole wide world of dog life, with the exception of my family of course... is THE BALL! I am obsessed with the ball. I look forward to going "OUTSIDE" every day to fetch my bright orange "BALL!"
This is Bonnie! A big lovable, 65 lb. cuddly Giant Schnauzer. This girl loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. She came from a breeder in Texas and became part of our family when she was 8 weeks old. She was born in April 2022. Her temperament is calm and pretty chill, she loves to greet us with SOMETHING in her mouth, usually our hanging dish towels, a flip flop, or a random bone. When she wags her tail her whole butt moves with excitement. She's a big kisser and loves to give little love bites to show how much she loves you. She is also pretty protective of the home and the whole family in it, she doesn't take to strangers very well but that's just her doing her job as a Giant Schnauzer! Give her some time and space and she'll warm up to you. Maybe. Bonnie doesn't seem to play fetch with the ball the way Gunner does (maybe because he's obsessed with it and doesn't even give her a chance), but she loves to fetch a stick and then chew it up! When Gunner doesn't have his ball she loves to play chase... her being chased by him of course! But her most favorite pastime is when her human family puts the hose on jet stream and then pumps the water, she just loves chasing it and jumping up for the water spouts! Between her and Gunner they make some amazing Giant Schnoodle puppies!
If I could talk human I would say..."Balls? Who has time to chase balls!? I suppose I do it on occasion, but I prefer to chase and chew sticks! And I absolutely love to chase the water spouts from the garden hose! When my human family puts that on jet stream I'm all over it!"
